“For as long as I can remember, my favorite game was to build houses and spaces. On each family vacation I relished the adventure of creating some kind of building; tree house, fortress. The creation of spaces and the emotions connected to them was endlessly fascinating to me.
As I grew up, the buildings and the ideas behind them became bigger. I knew from a very young age that architecture was the profession I wanted to pursue. I felt I was born to do it.
Along the way, travelling and having nature as a guide, studying architecture and reading history I understood how important architecture is for humankind. Architecture is essential to our emotions and sense of civilization.”
